At Arvin Global Solutions (AGS), we believe that in order for America’s standard of living to prosper, there must be a strong U.S. industrial base which can successfully compete both domestically and in the world market. For this reason, AGS was established to assist manufacturing companies in achieving excellence for maximizing sales and being competitive in the face of foreign competition.
History has clearly shown that manufacturing is the lifeblood of any economy.
In fact, manufacturing has been behind the economic success of every country
since the postwar era. However, over the past thirty years, the American
manufacturing sector has faced ever increasing competition in the global
marketplace. As a result, billions upon billions of dollars are leaving the U.S.
economy every year in the form of payments for imported products. This deficit
has had a damaging effect on all aspects of the American economy and the
standard of living for millions of Americans.
As you can see in the graph below, despite recent gains in manufacturing and the subsequent increase in exports, the import of goods continues
to rise in almost equal proportion. This dynamic of IMPORTING GOODS and
EXPORTING WEALTH is at the heart of our many economic problems.
Only through the reversal of this deficit will we see positive changes for the American middle class. Contributing to the reversal of this deficit is the goal of AGS.
